Shots Watford: Q&As with the Director of Watford's renovated sports bar

Previously known to many of us in Watford as Rileys, Shots Watford is a recently renovated sports bar located at 65 The Parade. Shots has 10 English Pool Tables, 8 American Pool Tables, 5 Snooker Tables, 3 Darts Lanes and 1 Giant Screen for live sport!

Shots was only able to fully open the doors of their new renovated bar this Summer, and as you walk up the flights of stairs and enter through the double doors you can really see the improvements; the interior design is modern, the music is great, and the pool tables are better than ever.

We met with Andy, director at Shots Watford, to speak about the improvements and it was clear that their intention was to appeal to all ages and be suitable for multiple occasions. We even had a quickfire Q&A with Andy that you can check out below!

1. Tell us a bit of background about you and your business

I am from a leisure background working at David Lloyd Leisure, Champneys and the O2 Arena. Shots Watford opened at the end of 2020 however with the lockdowns we weren’t able to fully operate and welcome customers until Summer 2021.

2. What do you personally enjoy about working in Watford town centre?

Watford is vibrant with many different demographics and cultures, I enjoy seeing all coming together at Shots.

3. Why do you think customers will choose to visit Shots Watford?

They will come to Shots as it is welcome to all - We are group, family and couple friendly.

4. Where in Watford town centre is your personal favourite place or business to visit and why?

The new Cineworld. Completely relaxed and comfortable when there!

5. What will be the biggest challenge(s) over the next year for you and your business?

Keeping Covid 19 levels down so we can maintain our good start at Shots.
