Europe's biggest shoe retailer arrives at intu Watford
Europe’s biggest shoe retailer, Deichmann shoes, has opened its doors in Watford.
Deichmann has moved into a 406 metre squared unit at intu Watford, creating 12 permanent jobs, including supervisor positions, shop floor and cashier roles.
The space underwent a £400,000 transformation, to reflect the brand identity of Deichmann’s 3,700 strong global portfolio.
The official launch took place on Saturday 30th March with a range of in-store promotions throughout the day, including free shoes for the store’s first 25 customers and limited-edition bags.
Richard McKenzie, Store Manager of Deichmann Watford, said:
“Following a successful opening, we’re even more excited for the future of our Watford store. We are looking forward to getting to know all the local shoppers and becoming a well-loved fixture of intu Watford.”
Deichmann stores are designed for a fast track shopping experience that’s as time efficient as possible. All shoes and sizes are on display, meaning customers don’t have to wait for assistance, instead they can easily locate and help themselves to the range.
Deichmann has an impressive range of women’s shoes, bags and accessories, which have been gaining column inches in publications from Cosmopolitan to Elle.
The company also frequently collaborates with cutting edge fashion designers and A-List stars. Previous collaborations have seen trendy collections with British singing sensation, Ellie Goulding, design duo, Nova Chiu, and Hollywood celebrity, Halle Berry – bringing exclusive, stylish collections to its customers at accessible prices.
Deichmann stocks a full range of men’s and children’s shoes, as well as unique and exclusive lines from brands such as adidas and Nike. These come with a price guarantee, ensuring that customers are refunded the difference if they find an identical pair of branded shoes cheaper in any UK high street or online retailer. There is also an extensive ‘comfort’ range for those looking to marry style with snugness.
Deichmann’s own brand shoes start at just £5.99, with real leather products starting at £24.99.
