Back to school with Beats School Uniform
We are delighted to welcome independent retailer, Beats School Uniform, to the Town Centre. Susie Benjamin and the team at Beats School Uniform (BSU) are no strangers to Watford, having been serving the school community for 13 years from Paramount Industrial Estate, Sandown Road. Whilst keeping their original warehouse base, they have expanded and now occupy a retail unit on The Parade, creating a real visible presence in the town centre and a renewed, superior shopping experience for their customers of all ages.
They provide uniform and sportswear for local schools, clubs, businesses and sports teams in Watford and the local areas. They offer a ‘one stop shop’ shopping experience where customers not only buy garments, but also stationery, shoes, bags, and sporting equipment. Coupled with their on-site printing, embroidery services and in-house design team, they never say no to a customer.
As a family run business, ensuring all their stock is ethically sourced from trusted and reputable suppliers is really important to Susie. They even go one step further with a supplier whose blazers are made from recycled plastic bottles - by working together with this supplier, Beats School Uniform saved 240,559 plastic bottles going to landfill last year. Beats School uniform also send their excess stock to Africa to the charities Kit Aid, School Aid and The Kenyan Children’s Project.
Susie’s passion for providing a good, honest, and reliable service to the school and wider Watford community and is embraced by Watford BID and we wish them the best of luck with the new store.
