A Tasty Week For Watford Town Centre!

Watford town centre’s fantastic range of restaurants, pubs, and bars teamed up for the third consecutive year to celebrate Watford Food & Drink, organised by Watford BID. From 17th – 23rd June, the town centre offered a range of special drinks offers, discounted set menus, and even a food taster event in intu Watford shopping centre.

Whether a popular high street chain or a local independent, over 25 Watford eateries got involved in Watford Food & Drink Week 2019, showcasing special offers, samples, and tasters so that visitors could treat themselves to delicious, discounted food & drink. Exclusive £5, £10, and £15 Set Menus went down a treat and brought new customers into participating restaurants, in addition to thousands visiting our unique webpage to check out what was on offer in Watford.

intu Watford’s Food Festival took place on Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd June in The Atrium area, outside Debenhams and Cineworld. Free tasters & samples were on offer from some of our favourite Watford establishments including Pizza Express, Shakeaway, Subway, MOD Pizza, and Nespresso.

Vicki Costello, general manager at intu Watford said, “The Watford BID Food Festival was a great success and we were thrilled to be a part of something that gives our shoppers a new and exciting experience. At intu Watford, we aim to create compelling experiences that result in people leaving with a smile, and the Food Festival helped to deliver this! Thank you to everyone who came along to support all the fantastic food and drinks traders both in the intu Watford Atrium and along the High Street.”
